Boomerangs Teach Sutherland a Futsal Lesson

Southern Cross Stadium has become a fromidable place for opposing Super League clubs to come this season, and today's visit from Sutherland Shire was no exception. The Boomerangs 12 boys got the day off to a flyer with a great 6-4 victory that secured top spot and a weeks break. As the day went on the Boomerangs faithful were hopeful of a second clean sweep for the season. Sutherlans provided tough resistance in the 14 Girls and the Open womens game's with the scores 4-3 and 2-1 respectively.

Boomerangs were 8 from 8 with only the injury depleted mens side to play. After the tense opening minutes Boomerangs scored and didnt look back running out 7-2 winners and climing a 2nd 9 win round.

All 9 Boomerangs teams secured their finals spots and will be raring to go at Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium next weekend.
